How To Speed Up Rank Tracker

I have been using Rank Tracker for quite some time and I have to say it works like a charm and I am always up to date on where I rank in the Search Engines for all the keywords that I care about ranking.

Even though Rank Tracker is a great tool I have found that unless you know what you are doing it can cause warnings from the big G and also run slowly if you are querying many Search Engines for hundreds of keywords. Of course there are ways to set the preferences in the tool using proxies and captcha solving to circumvent the blocks but they significantly slow down the whole process.

Don't get me wrong here, Rank Tracker is, as far as I'm concerned, the best rank tracking tool out there and I am not complaining about its effectiveness.
I highly recommend Rank Tracker.

Trusted Proxies

The site is Trusted Proxies and after a week or so running Rank Tracker I am about to sign up.

The service is very easy to implement and once you've set it up you'll notice that it is blistering fast, I mean blistering!

In one of my databases for Rank Tracker, specifically the one I use for this blog, query exactly 500 search terms in Google, Bing and Yahoo. This process usually took hours to run. Now it takes about 15 - 20 minutes which to me is absolutely amazing. It is incredibly fast.

The people at Trusted Proxies are really accommodating when it comes to setting up a free trial and will work with you and help out any way they can.

One of the best Content Management Systems around has to be WordPress. Not only is WordPress great for blogging, it's great for building a website and with all the WordPress Plugins available, you can really get some great SEO right out of the box.

I'm sure you need to know who is linking to you, what the PR of the linking page is, and the anchor text. There is so much in-depth information featured in SEO SpyGlass, it will soon become your secret weapon.

SEO Software For Mac | Seoquake For Safari 5.0 | SEO Plugin

Using a Macintosh computer with OS X has obvious benefits and the OS comes packed with great software including Safari. However, anyone that develops websites or blogs has probably used Firefox because of the great SEO Add-ons available. You may have asked yourself - Where are all the SEO Extensions for Safari? I know I have.

If you are involved with Internet Marketing, you'll understand that these add-ons for Firefox are essential SEO Tools for Mac.

I don't know about you - I would much prefer to use Safari and I do as my main browser when using my MacBook Pro. Luckily enough, there's a new SEO Extension For Safari that works great and every Mac User interested in SEO should use it.

I have just discovered that the direct link to the SeoQuake extension for Safari did not work and I have changed that link to point to the SeoQuake home page.

Seoquake has an Excellent SEO Plugin that's been used in Firefox for quite some time and is the #1 Firefox Add-on. It's also available for Google Chrome and Now it's available for Safari 5.0.

Safari Backlinks (Yahoo PageLinks)

I've also been using another free Safari extension that shows a sites backlinks in Yahoo Site Explorer - Safari Backlinks 0.3.

This extension doesn't show every incoming link to a site and is not a complete solution but it can certainly give you a snapshot of who is linking out to a competitors site or your own site.

If you want to break-out your search data for a daily search volume, The Wordtracker FREE Keyword Suggestion Tool is a great place to go. The data is not as thorough as Google but if you are just looking for search quantity you'll find it there

I use the tool to see how the numbers compare with Google. One of the cool things in Wordtrackers Free Keyword Suggestion Tool is that you will find Long Tail Keyword Phrases that you may have missed in the Adwords Tool.

This is a great feature because when you are just starting the planning phase of a website or blog, it can be very informative to see these long tail searches.

Keyword Research is obviously very important for finding what people are searching for and how they are searching. If you use the Free SEO Tools, you must be highly organized and have a method to keep your research together and easily accessible.

Keyword Elite for Mac is now available in a 2.0 Beta version. That's right!

I did a post August 27, 2009 on Keyword Elite 2.0 Ignores Mac Users where I stated I thought it was short sighted that any developer of SEO software would leave out a Mac version.

Well, I am now officially impressed that an effort has been made to get Keyword Elite 2.0 to run natively on Mac OS X.



I have not tried this software yet but I will be trying it out later on this week, but I did sign-up for the affiliate program and it looks like they have a very good one.

Keyword Elite has been around for quite awhile and I am sure that it has all the bells and whistles but before I recommend it I am going to buy it and try it. It's a tool for Keyword Research which makes it another SEO Tool I may use.
